About the Real Volkswagen Saveiro

The Volkswagen Saveiro is a compact pickup developed and built by Volkswagen do Brasil, derived from the Brazilian VW Gol hatchback with which it shares its front end and platform. Produced in Brazil and sold across Latin America — but never in Europe or the United States — it is a genuinely Brazilian-origin model that has been a fixture of the country's roads since the early 1980s.
