The Chevrolet Celta VHC is the entry-level hatchback that defined GM do Brasil's small-car lineup for fifteen years. Built at GM's Gravataí plant in Rio Grande do Sul from 2000 to 2015, the Celta was Chevrolet's answer to the Volkswagen Gol on the Brazilian market and ran the brand's flexfuel VHC family of 1.0 and 1.4 engines. This Proton Bus Simulator mod recreates the Celta in its iconic short-wheelbase three-door form with seven custom skins, a full interior, working rear camera and three onboard animations.

About the Real Chevrolet Celta VHC

The Chevrolet Celta is a subcompact hatchback produced by GM do Brasil at the Gravataí plant in Rio Grande do Sul from 2000 to 2015. It was launched as a budget-oriented replacement for the second-generation Chevette in the Brazilian market, sharing the GM Gamma platform with the Opel Corsa B and slotting beneath the contemporary Corsa C. The VHC nameplate refers to General Motors' "Variable High Compression" flexfuel engine family — the 1.0-litre VHC-E (Economy) and the higher-output 1.4-litre VHC were the two powertrains that the Celta carried throughout most of its life, both running on either gasoline or hydrous ethanol following Brazil's flexfuel rollout. A facelift in 2006 brought a refreshed front end, and a smaller update arrived in 2011. The Celta was discontinued in 2015 in favour of the second-generation Chevrolet Onix, which inherited its entry-level position in the Chevrolet Brasil lineup.
