About the Real Honda Fit 2018

The third-generation Honda Fit (GK) is the global subcompact hatchback that Honda produced from 2014 to 2021, with the Brazilian variant assembled at Honda Sumaré's Itirapina plant in São Paulo. The Fit's defining engineering feature across all generations is the centre-mounted fuel tank under the front seats, which frees the rear floor for the Magic Seat system — rear seats that fold completely flat or flip up cinema-style, giving the small hatchback cargo flexibility that competitors cannot match. The 2018 model year marked the Brazilian arrival of the GK's mid-cycle facelift, with a revised front bumper, restyled headlights with LED accents, new wheel designs and updated infotainment. The Brazilian Fit ran the 1.5-litre i-VTEC flexfuel four-cylinder paired with either a 5-speed manual (entry trims) or the CVT automatic that dominated sales.
