About the Real Volkswagen Gol

The Volkswagen Gol reached its fourth generation (G4) in 2005, a restyled evolution built by Volkswagen do Brasil that kept the Gol firmly at the top of Brazil's sales charts. Front-wheel drive with efficient 1.0 and 1.6 flex-fuel engines, roomy and affordable, the G4 was one of the most common cars on Brazilian roads through the late 2000s and early 2010s.
