Chevrolet Omega 4.1 CD — Brazilian Executive Sedan Car Mod
Chevrolet Omega 4.1 CD Brazilian Executive Sedan Car Mod for Proton Bus Simulator
The Chevrolet Omega 4.1 CD is the flagship trim of the first-generation Brazilian Omega, the executive sedan that GM do Brasil assembled at the São José dos Campos plant from 1992 to 1998. The Omega was a market-tuned derivative of the Opel Omega A, repowered for the Brazilian market with the 4.1-litre Australian-sourced inline-six. The CD ("Comfort Diamond") was the top trim and ran the 4.1 engine paired with the highest equipment level — leather seats, electric mirrors, the wood-finish dashboard and the 4-speed automatic. This Proton Bus Simulator mod recreates the Omega CD with three custom skins, the recognizable boxy three-box silhouette and the distinctive front quad-headlight signature.

About the Real Chevrolet Omega 4.1 CD
The first-generation Chevrolet Omega is a Brazilian-market executive sedan produced by General Motors do Brasil at the São José dos Campos plant in São Paulo state from 1992 to 1998. It is a derivative of the Opel Omega A, the German rear-wheel-drive executive saloon that Opel had produced since 1986, but the Brazilian Omega was repowered with the Holden-sourced 4.1-litre inline-six engine — a Holden Buick-derived powerplant well known to Australian Commodore enthusiasts. The CD ("Comfort Diamond") trim sat at the top of the Brazilian lineup and combined the 4.1 engine with leather seats, electric front mirrors and windows, the optional 4-speed automatic transmission and a wood-trim dashboard. A facelift in 1996 brought the chrome grille and the smoother bumper treatment. The Brazilian Omega A was discontinued in 1998, after which Chevrolet Brasil began importing the Australian-built Omega B (rebadged Holden Commodore) for the 1999 model year and onwards.
