About the Real Fiat 147

The Fiat 147 was the first Fiat car built in Brazil, produced from 1976 to 1986 as a Brazilian development of the European Fiat 127. Its "City" version was a compact, car-based pickup with a small open bed, popular for light urban deliveries. Simple, light and economical, the 147 holds an important place in Brazilian motoring history — Fiat's local debut and famously one of the first cars in the world offered to run on ethanol.
